Forest County COVID-19 Disease Activity Levels Explained

The state sets disease activity levels at low, medium, high, very high and critically high based on the amount of cases averaged over two weeks per 100,000 people (burden) and trajectory, which is the percent case change from the previous to the current week.

Disease activity level, burden and trajectory data is provided by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and can be viewed here: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/disease.htm

This data is updated on a weekly basis and uses the data from the previous two weeks.

Trajectory is the percent case change from the previous to the current week and indicates whether the change is statistically significant.
